Full Description

Rose cottage, barbrook. C17 altered, stone, plastered, and colourwashed. Now with sheeting roof. Stop chamfered hewn lintols to ground floor windows, and entrance.3 casement windows at 1st floor, somewhat altered. Projecting chimney right, now enclosed. [1] The building was visited in April 2012 as part of the rapid condition survey of Exmoor's Listed Buildings 2012-13. It received a BAR score of 6. [2] The building was assessed as part of the 2018-19 rapid condition survey of Exmoor’s Listed Buildings, receiving a BAR score of 6. [3]
