Full Description
Reed headstone circa 2m south of south west corner of nave of Parish Church of St Thomas. Headstone 1771. Slate. Segmental shouldered head with angels bust. Inscription to Mary Reed of South Ley (d 1771). [1] The gravestone was visited in September 2012 as part of the rapid condition survey of Exmoor's Listed Buildings 2012-13. It received a BAR score of 5A. [2] The gravestone was assessed as part of the rapid condition survey of Exmoor’s Listed Buildings 2018-19. It received a BAR score of 5A. [3]
