Description
Funded through Historic England's 'Early Fabric in Historic Towns' initiative to survey and research historic buildings with significant early fabric in Dunster, including roof structures, with dating backed by tree-ring analysis where possible. Survey reports including plans, photographs and historical summaries, publications in SAHNS. 28 historic buildings recorded with 53 considered. Significant early fabric including many medieval roof structures. 15 early 3-room cross passage houses identified.
