Description
The farm was not more than a hundred years old. It was in a very poor state in the mid-19th century, but it was not until after 1845 that two cottages were built. The oldest buildings in the farmstead were the threshing barn and stock linhay. Further buildings were part of this complex and together formed a Grade II Listed description. It was worth noting that a Bronze Age axe and some flint had been found on the farm. There were several sites of possible medieval settlement.
