Description

A barn was excavated in 1998, and a large domestic building was excavated in 1999 and 2000. Some cob and rubble stone walls were revealed and 13th/14th century pottery and a whetstone were found. Samples were taken from the beated floor - analysis found oats and rye present. Further detailed examination to take place. [1]
